I would love to go to EGX as a creator, developer or something of the like. I went to the event this year as a fan with my other half and my friends, I love these events because it just celebrates all things games!

I was drawn to the indie games (as I always am) and quite a few caught my eye:

(I won't write about every single game but I will put a small list after the mentions)

Alchemic Cutie

This game was right next to the entrance to the event, It is a RPG open world game where you have to find, breed and raise different Jelly creatures on the farm you own. You can talk to the different villagers and also power up jellies and use them in alchemy.

find the game on STEAM and more on their

Lord Winklebottom Investigates

I Spotted this game coming out of a demo play through of 'Beyond a steel sky' and I was very interested. The art style of this game intrigued me and so did the point and click element as I play those games a lot; like the Deponia series or Broken Age. It's set in the 1920's with animals and an investigator with a very long neck, whats not to love! I started chatting to the developer, and what a lovely women she was, she worked on most of the game herself (everything except the sound I believe she said) and has done all the campaigning, advertising etc as well. I was blown away with the detail, please find more information on the WEBSITE and STEAM page.

Also the KICKSTARTER page.

List of games to check out:

They had some good looking titles to remember.

We also got to see a 45 minute gameplay demo of Cyber Punk 2077 which was quite good, sitting there made me feel like I was at a very small E3 stage watching someone demo a a game. It seems like my sort of game so i'm very interested, there were a few bugs but nothing that cant be ironed out i'm sure!

I didn't get many photos of the day because i wanted to take it all in and plus I know some developers wouldn't want photos of their games to be taken, plus we weren't allowed to take photos in the Cyber Punk screening.
