When you start drawing form a young drawing what's around you like your own house, your family or family pet. These drawings are obviously not going to be your best work unless the family members' legs are truly attached to their ears than I apologise.
You then move onto copying cartoon characters or game characters and during art classes at school you probably would have made a couple hundred self portraits; one with your dominant hand, one with your non dominant, one at 5 minutes...you get the picture.
Now this is where I am, I am still at copying and it resembles the original well, you can see what it is but it looks like a reflections in a wavy mirror. Through out all the bad things that is happening this year I have made it my goal to try and improve on my skills. I have not decided yet how I feel about digital drawing though I will continue to practice this too.
I wanted to get back into water colour painting and I also had an idea for a gardening game (VERY original) so as a test I decided to water colour paint some vegetables with a darker outliner on one side.
I was asked to draw a birthday card for a family member who loves super hero's and animals and I thought the best animal suited for the job was obviously Krypto!
